“Fairness” is a complicated concept to address in the world of business. For artificial intelligence (AI), it represents a sharp weapon that could be used for unprecedented levels of good as companies look to become discrimination-free.
The significance of this subject hit home last year after I was invited to deliver a keynote presentation on two subjects at the first German-French conference on artificial intelligence, AIXIA. The first subject was sustainability — a long-established ramification of artificial intelligence.
