Mexican logistics company implements JDA Warehouse Management to streamline its logistics processes

JDA Software Group, Inc. and netLogistiK today announced that Dicka Logistics SAPI De CV, Mexican provider of integrated logistics services, selected JDA® Warehouse Management in order to achieve higher inventory accuracy and gain faster response times as well as streamline its logistics processes overall.

Dicka Logistics was founded in 2010 but has more than 30 years of experience as its founders came from two leading logistics companies in Mexico: Dimalsa and Huromo. Dicka Logistics therefore brings combined experience in operations and logistics services.

Dicka Logistics’ mission is to provide comprehensive logistics services that optimize customers’ supply chains, serving as their strategic ally. The company has warehouses for dry, refrigerated and frozen goods and offers warehouse management, transportation, and reverse logistics services, among others. Dicka Logistics currently operates in five cities in Mexico: Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Celaya and Villahermosa.

Dicka Logistics sought to implement JDA Warehouse Management as a best-in-class warehouse management solution to achieve greater control of its logistics processes. In addition, the solution will support the company’s innovation path while helping to improve customer service by enabling faster response through real-time visibility into its customers’ inventory status. The company also seeks to reduce human error and achieve greater accuracy in inventory, avoid depletion, as well as improve safety and efficiency in receipt and dispatch of goods, while it manages the railyard.
