Company revenue grows to all-time high fueled by customers continuing to expand JDA footprint, strong demand for award-winning Luminate/Blue Yonder AI and SaaS portfolio
JDA Software, Inc., today announced continued financial momentum, customer demand and sustained innovation in the quarter and fiscal year ended December 31, 2018. In Q4, SaaS bookings accounted for approximately half of total product (software and SaaS) bookings for the first time. Full year company revenue is also at an all-time high, with strong year-over-year (YoY) growth at its highest since the company merger with RedPrairie in 2012. Customer interest was also driven by JDA’s new SaaS, artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) solutions delivered via JDA Luminate, powered by Blue Yonder’s award-winning AI platform. JDA also built on its industry-leading patent portfolio, with 66 submitted or granted patents in 2018, taking the company’s total number to over 450 patents granted and/or pending.
“2018 was the strongest year ever for JDA across customer, innovation and financial metrics. I am proud of our team delivering to our commitments which is the foundation of the culture we are building at JDA,” said Girish Rishi, chief executive officer, JDA. “As we look ahead, our plan calls for continued, aggressive investment in our AI/ML portfolio and on delivering elevated customer experience levels.”

In 2018, SaaS bookings grew 190 percent and SaaS Annual Recurring Revenue more than doubled YoY to $121 million. JDA finished 2018 in a very strong cash position while self-funding its purchase of Blue Yonder.
Customer satisfaction and solution expansion continues to grow year-over-year
Customer satisfaction measured by way of JDA’s net promoter scores are at an all-time high, and customer attrition is the lowest in company history. This has translated to both an expansion of existing customer relationships and significant new customer wins.
