At one time or another, all of us have called our pizza shop and asked about the status. The desire for instant visibility and instant gratification in a hyper-personalized configuration (toppings), is most prevalent in pizza consumption. Post-Covid-19, the ordering, making and delivering of pizza may be the only aspect of supply chain that remains somewhat intact. During the past few months, we have spoken to dozens of heads of businesses at major grocery chains, pharmacy giants, third-party logistics companies, clothing and apparel providers, perishable goods producers and manufacturers. Each of them talked about how their teams have had to respond but also on the aspects that are here to stay and will remain in a post-COVID-19 phase.
